Payment arrangements are available with half down retainer fee.
Fees will be assessed at time of initial consultation. The San Miguel
Law Office, PLLC reserves the right to decline a case or alter the
fee in accordance with the facts of the case.

PERSONAL INJURY: 33
1/3 % of settlement; 40% if case goes to trial, reduction of atty’s
fees if no personal injury protection is possible and will be discussed
during negotiations with attorney.
FAMILY CASES:
(Texas Cases Only: Bell, Burnet, Coryell, Lampasas & San Saba)

Modification of Existing Order: (Possession, Visitation, Child Support)
Uncontested Modification - $500
Contested Modification - $750
Out of State Parent, or Transfer Jurisdiction, add $50
Expedited Hearing, add $50
Respond/Review Petition - $200 + hourly for any additional work
Out of County, add mileage - $.50/mile (i.e. Dallas, San Antonio,
Austin, Houston)
Divorce: (Texas Residency of 6 mo required, know where spouse is
located, includes court fees)
Uncontested Divorce- waiver of service, no children, no property

Uncontested Divorce - w/children & property - $1,500
Contested Divorce (hourly fee & expenses beyond retainer) -
$3,000
Trial - $5,000
Respond/Review Decree - $200 + hourly for any additional work
Temporary Restraining Order, add- $200
Attorney General Intervention, add - $200
Investigation, add - $50 for each (values, balance)
Adoption: - $5,000 + additional court ordered fees (requires hiring
ad litem attorney for child, social worker and psychologist)
CRIMINAL CASES:
(Flat Fee for Negotiations for possible dismissal and/or reduction
of charge or sentence: Probation, Time served, Anger, Alcohol &
Drug Classes, Deferred Adjudication, Merge multiple charges)
Misdemeanor - $500
State Jail Felony - $1,000
Felony - $1,500
Occupational License - $500 includes court fees to DPS & County
Judge, requires SR-22 insurance not included in fees – go
through their insurance
Trial Retainer for any charge - $3,000

Ongoing case filed by client - $150/hour plus mileage
Temporary Residency - $1,500

BANKRUPTCY CASES (Flat Fee):
Chapter 7 (straight) - $1,500 (must be paid in full before filing)
Chapter 11 (reorganization) - $3,000
Chapter 13 (reaffirm secured debt) - $2,500 ($500 retainer, remainder
in monthly payments)
